Deep Creek Fly Fishers - Classes

The Lee Vining area makes a good base camp for fly fishing excursions. To the North is the East Walker River and Wolf Creek. In the Tioga Pass you can fish Lee Vining Creek and Saddle Bag Creek. Also nearby are Lundy Lake, Twin Lakes and Robinson Creek.

Reservations for campsites have gotten more difficult to secure in the Sierras in recent years, especially adjacent sites or group sites. There are several campgrounds in the Tioga pass on Highway 120 that operate on a first come, first served basis. A few members will go up a day early and attempt to secure a group site or adjacent campsites for those that want to camp.There is a nice RV park in Lee Vining as well as several motels if sleeping in a tent is not your thing.

We plan to have a BBQ on Saturday night for all who come to the outing, whether camping or not. Once campsites are found, the information will be sent by email through Corsizio to everyone signed up.
