Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Society

Open to any and all dancers ages 16 and over!

Learn about and try your hand at House dance, an urban dance style that has roots in the underground house music scene of Chicago and New York, with professional dancer Olena Sukach.

Olena is a Ukrainian artist, dancer, choreographer and teacher at The Flava Factory - Ottawa's only Street Dance Studio. She holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts and Choreography from the Gaditsk School of Culture and Arts, and has worked for 10 years as a full-time performing artist, choreographer and teacher. Olena has participated in Hip Hop workshops led by dancers such as Chris Martin, Keone & Mari, Kinjaz, Hiro, Shaun Evaristo, Jillian Meyers, Edson Guiu and others.

Olena is currently a full performing member of the Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble.
