Healthy Feet Class Series
Join us for this exploration of the feet. There are 27 bones, 33 joints and more than 100 ligaments and tendons in the foot. Mmm...sounds like they are meant to move. Often overlooked and stuffed into tight rigid shoes, the feet are an important part of our proprioceptive system which helps the body sense where it is in space. We will have a look at the anatomy of the foot and common problems that cause pain or limit mobility. The gentle exercises or explorations are designed to bring more life and circulation to the feet and to strengthen the connection between the core and the feet. These explorations are all very doable and effective for most people.
You will need to bring your own yoga mat. There are a few mats at the studio for students who don't have a yoga mat yet but please email me first to check on availability.
