Please join Helen Bennett as we conclude our study of the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt, and then return to the ancient cultures of Greece and China. The Pharaohs we will study are The Great Nubians; Alexander the Great; the Ptolemies; and Cleopatra, the Last Pharaoh. After studying the ancient Egyptians under Professor Brier, we go back to Professor Aldrete who compares Homer with Indian Poetry, continues with Athens and Experiments in Democracy, Hoplite Warfare and Sparta, and Civilization Dawns in China. Our students have enjoyed both of these Great Courses to the max! (No need to have taken the earlier courses.)
