Improv 101 - Longform
Learn the basics of longform improv over this 8-week course that culminates in a class show. Great for those interested in comedy, acting or just looking to have fun and be silly! We will focus on finding the funny in our daily lives/stories, and using this to initiate scenes and generate unique characters.
Prerequisite: Prior performing experience, or Intro to Improv (preferred but not mandatory).
Please bring comfortable indoor shoes to wear in class.
LOCATION
Classes will take place at the Jack Purcell Community Centre. The first class will take place in Room 101 at 320 Jack Purcell Lane and all subsequent classes will take place in the Bethell Field House.
CLASS SHOW
This course will have a class show at 7 PM on Tuesday, May 28th in the Atelier at Arts Court (2 Daly Avenue).
