Circle Time is a simple yet powerful method for rapidly building trusting respectful relationships within a group of people. This can be applied to school staff, or staff and students, staff and parents/carers, or just with students. It is a method that promotes safety, inclusion, fun, reflection, teamwork, and deep thinking. Circle Time is an effective way of teaching Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and is highly recommended for any school contemplating or implementing social and emotional learning as providing an essential strong foundation. Circle Time can easily be applied to large groups of over 100 people or class size or smaller. A typical training session is between 90 – 150 minutes and can be run as part of staff meeting time.

Circle Time method is taught face to face in a school. Circle Time resources are included for all staff.

Circle Time training provides the following:

-     What is Circle Time and how to run Circle Time

-     Role of the Facilitator

-     Managing Behaviour

-     Circle Time strategies including: Welcoming and Name Games, Pass Around the Circle Games, Rapport Building Games, Mixing Games, Sentence Completions, Silent Statements, Pair-Share, Imagination Games, Sequencing Games, Team Games, and Stories.
