PHYSICAL, TACTICAL, AND TECHNICAL TOOLS FOR COACHING FEMALE PADEL CPD

Physical, Tactical, and Technical Tools for Coaching Female Padel CPD

Females are physically distinct from males, and therefore have different physical ‘resources’ with which to play the game. This means that whilst the fundamentals of padel remain the same for both sexes, the way in which female players maximise their ability differs from males. This practical workshop, developed by worldclass padel players and coaches, is applicable to all ages and stages of female players and provides the tools to optimise your players’ improvement, whilst also minimising their risk of injury.

Course Description

On the physical, tactical and technical tools for coaching female padel workshop, you’ll explore the differences and similarities between the sexes and work through activities that all women and girls can and should do. Learn how coaching interventions, across tactical and technical areas, should be informed by knowledge of the female anatomy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the female body and how to maximise technical and tactical effectiveness and efficiency through simple interventions.
  • Learn why and how to teach female players the importance of controlling space tactically
  • Explore female overheads: why, what, and how

This five-hour practical workshop is a must for padel coaches who want to help female players maximise their potential and minimise risk of injury. It also provides great learning for players, especially women, who want to ensure that they are on track physically, tactically, and technically with their own padel journey.
