Frame Loom Weaving and Social Night
This introductory weaving course will have you learning all you need to know about weaving on a frame loom, in a fun social environment. The perfect night out with friends!
We will start the evening off with a "build your own" taco salad station plus a fruit tray dessert from Everyday Food Co (salad is gluten-sensitive if shell bowl is omitted). Hot and cold beverages will also be provided.
After dinner, there is a 3 hour frame loom weaving class, where we will learn about simple tools, weaving terms and basic stitches. With this knowledge you will be able to set up your own loom and get creative with texture and pattern. You will also learn how to remove and finish your woven work.
Students will receive a small Ashford Frame Loom choice of weaving kit (kit details emailed separately). No experience necessary.
Registration closes September 20.
Please note the classroom is upstairs (14 steps).
Relevant Feedback
We had a great time learning all the techniques on our frame looms. Sarah was a good teacher and very pleasant to work with. Thank you to her and Numana Yarns on this nice class.
