Thu, Aug 29, 2024, 11:00 AM CDT – Thu, Dec 12, 2024, 11:55 AM CST
Lakeshore Campus

New Orleans history class is a visit to our most interesting city. You'll learn about the founding of the city and the unique components that are still in existence --- Mardi Gras, debutantes, Storyville, architecture, and (of course) music and food.

The teacher, Angela Carll, is a working tour guide with Road Scholar and has created PowerPoint presentations on many aspects associated with our city. She has long been part of People Program, and the last class that she taught was Current Events. Come learn about the fascinating city we call New Orleans!
