Welcome to "Feathered Friends: Exploring Birds," an exciting and interactive journey designed for curious young minds aged 6 to 10 years old. In this engaging course, children will spread their wings and embark on a captivating exploration of the avian world. Birds are everywhere! From your backyard to the distant rainforests, these remarkable creatures come in a dazzling array of colors, sizes, and songs. "Feathered Friends" introduces children to the enchanting world of birds through an immersive and multidisciplinary approach. Each lesson is carefully crafted to provide a dynamic learning experience within a supportive and inclusive environment. Our course combines hands-on activities, interactive learning, and a dash of creativity to ignite a deep fascination for our feathered companions.
Each week offers a blend of hands-on activities, interactive learning experiences, and creative outlets, all set in the natural beauty of the park environment. From introducing birdwatching and bird anatomy to exploring bird calls, migration patterns, and dietary habits, every session is designed to deepen understanding while fostering curiosity and appreciation for avian diversity. Activities such as building bird nests, engineering gliders, and playing predator-prey games not only educate about birds' ecological roles but also promote teamwork and critical thinking. Additionally, cultural exploration through storytelling and artistic expression enriches the learning experience, connecting myths about birds from various cultures with creative artwork.
