Sligo Yacht Club is looking for members for it’s GP14 Fleet!

Would you like to get a feel for what’s it’s like to sail in an adult dinghy fleet?

Did you sail years ago and are not sure how to get back involved?

Would you like to learn how to sail a dinghy but are not sure how to start?

The course will be run over 5 Tuesday nights and will be facilitated by experienced GP14 sailors who will introduce you to the boat, help you rig and introduce you to the different aspects of crewing and helming this versatile 2-handed dinghy.

Following the course you will be encouraged to join the fleet and continue your sailing journey as a full member of the club.

There will be days when weather conditions will prevent some or all course participants going on the water. This cannot be avoided and shore-based learning will be organised in lieu.
