The fundamentals of impressionistic representational painting will be the focus while exploring a vast range of subject matter.
The class is open to oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, gouache, charcoal, and graphite.
Each class has new content, with daily painting demonstrations and plenty of one-on-one assistance.
Students work from their photo references using their preferred painting or drawing medium.
Topics covered: design, value structure, color mixing, and use of edges.
Beginners are welcome, but some experience with painting materials is valuable.
