Introduction and Overview of the Bible from a Catholic Perspective -- Monday 1:00 to 1:55 -- (Sr. Sallie Latkovich, CSJ)
Introduction and Overview of the Bible
This course will review how we in the Roman Catholic Tradition read/hear the Bible.
Then, each week will be given to exploring the sections of the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament): The Pentateuch, Prophets, Wisdom Literature and the Psalms.
This will be followed by the books of the Christian Scriptures (New Testament): Mark, Matthew, Luke and John; the Acts of the Apostles; the letters of Paul; and the Book of Revelation.
On Monday of Holy Week, we will preview the readings of the Triduum.
