2 Saturdays | June 8 & 15 | 10 AM - 3 PM
Create your very own ceramic fairy house under the guidance of potter Kathy Ballentine! On June 8, you'll work with clay slabs to form and embellish your magical creation, and then on June 15 you'll use underglazes to make it come alive with color! Kathy will cover all the basics you need to know of working with clay slabs and glazes. We'll take care of bisque and glaze firings, and notify you when your piece is ready. The finished product will be perfect as a luminary indoors or a whimsical decorations in your flower garden or planter this summer! Bring a friend or go solo; you'll have a great time either way!
Please Note:
- Tuition is due with registration unless other arrangements are made. If you cancel 0-7 days before the class start date, we are able to refund your tuition ONLY if we can fill your space from our waitlist. We are not able to issue partial refunds or transfer your registration to another class. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot under ANY circumstances refund your tuition once you have started the classes.
- Art is a messy business! Please bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty with clay/paint/etc.
- Leave your rings, smartwatches, and jewelry at home. Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
- We ask that you pick up your projects within 2 weeks of your notification that they're ready. We have so many classes that our space can get quite full with students' work! Any pots left behind after 2 weeks without prior arrangements will be added to our "Adopt a Pot" shelf in our main gallery space.
