Exploring the Moon, Mars, and Beyond, Grades 2-5 (FULL)
We are at an especially exciting time in the exploration of the Solar System and beyond. NASA has two robotic rovers currently exploring ancient lakebeds on Mars looking for signs of past life. NASA and its international and commercial partners are launching a new generation of robotic and human missions to the Moon. The James Webb Space Telescope is now in orbit and sending back spectacular vistas of the distant universe. Atom Science Club members will learn from and be inspired by these epic adventures of exploration in the coming year. Students will receive updates from our established science contacts within NASA and directly interact with leading researchers. Club members will become proficient in using NASA software tools to receive, view, and analyze images and data being sent by spacecraft across the Solar System. A universe of fun, wonder, and excitement awaits us. Join us and become a participant in this great adventure!
