Come and learn how to write & draw your very own comic book! From visual and

sequential story-telling, to panel layout, to dynamic bodies – this class will give you the

basics of how to create a comic book – cover to cover. MANGA STYLES WELCOME!!

Students will learn about:

• how to build a story,

• how to create characters in motion,

• and how to use panel layouts

All to create their own complete comic book! By the end of the class, each student will

be able to create a 4 page comic, plus cover. In addition, selected student works will be

hung in the gallery for the “COMICS, CARTOONS & GRAPHIC NOVELS” show, August 5th – 17th!
