Duration: 2 Days 

Objectives:  To enable a person to competently manage and enter a confined space through safe systems of work and deal with any emergency situation which may occur whilst entering and working in confined spaces

Who requires this training?  Any persons who are required to manage any chamber, tank, vat, silo, vessel, pit, trench, pipe, flue, sewer, well or any other place by virtue of its confined nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable risk

• Hazards with confined spaces
• Foreseeable risks
• Atmospheric testing & monitoring
• Safe systems of work
• Intrinsic safety Harness selection, inspection, fitting and use Use of tripod & winch Safety lines and rescue knots
• Risk assessment
• Entry permits
• Escape breathing apparatus sets
• Liaising with emergency services 

Written assessment Practical entry & Assessment Certificate of attendance issued on successful achievement of written assessment.
