Embark on an avian adventure and delve into the fascinating world of birds with our ornithology class for mature teens and adults. Whether you're a seasoned birdwatcher or a curious beginner, this course offers an immersive exploration of the diverse and enchanting realm of birds. Like all of our studio classes, you will learn through engaging multimedia presentations and hands on projects.
Topics Covered:
Week 1: basic introduction to bird anatomy and behavior
Weeks 2 & 3: will dive deep into how to identify the birds that live nearby. From buzzing hummingbirds to soaring eagles, a huge variety of bird species will be covered.
Week 4: focus on some of the world's most unique and exotic birds, some of which can be found in your own backyard!
Feel free to bring a leak proof water bottle to class.
All class fees are non-refundable.
