Winter Warmer Retreat - Creativity for Wellbeing
Winter Warmer Retreat- Creativity for Well-being
Winter is a time for going inward, reflection and planting seeds for the future. This retreat is a treat for you. A day of deep rest and nourishment.
The day will include:
- Mindfulness
- Relaxation
- Tea ceremony - connecting with the water element
- A Nourishing morning and afternoon tea
- Opportunity to create a wellbeing vision board for what seeds you are nourishing in this season.
In Chinese Medicine, Winter is the season associated with the element of Water. The "5 elements in Chinese Medicine" is an ancient framework that will be woven into the workshop and will inform our processes and reflection. Water allows us the opportunity to focus on flow and introspection to support our wellbeing.
During the full day retreat you will be invited into a selection of Art Therapy reflective processes to support you to find meaning through art making. This retreat is facilitated by Amanda Scott, a masters qualified Creative Arts Therapist/ Arts Psychotherapist.
This retreat is for anyone who would benefit from time away from their normal routine, to receive nourishment, a space to reflect and create and is focussed on art making for well-being. There will be opportunities for group sharing however this is optional. If you are unsure if this retreat is suitable for you, please get in touch.
