- Understanding memory difficulties, including short-term, working, and long-term memory issues.
- Importance: Addressing how these impact learning and retention of information.
Understanding How to Identify and Support
- Identifying signs such as difficulty remembering instructions and retaining information over time.
- Using cognitive assessments and working with educational psychologists.
Gain a Toolbox of Practical Strategies and Approaches
- Teaching memory aids like mnemonics and visual organisers.
- Breaking information into smaller chunks.
- Repeating and reviewing material regularly.
