A Lotte Horses

This class is a progressive program for homeschoolers working towards becoming Jr Apprentices. Riders in this group are age 8+, and are confident to independently walk and trot AND canter. All are keen to learn more about horses.

Attendees learn to ride their horse or pony and engage in horse care, horsemanship and ranch chores.

Skills & Areas Explored:

• Horsemanship including ground work and lunging
• Horse anatomy compared to human anatomy
• Equine medical care
• Confidence in communicating with the horses, animals and each other
• Presentation skills and research skills
• Gain balance, stamina and focus through riding, chores & teamwork
• Crafts, enriching our time together, embracing the seasons and building on creativity and dexterity.
• Fun!

[Charter Schools - there is an extra admin fee of $25, please include it in your funds request. All attendees are required to pay a $200 non-refundable deposit. This amount is only refundable or available as credit once the school has paid in full.]
