Teaching and Scholarship Hub

We know that events outside the classroom can affect us and our students, and it can be hard to know how to respond. This session is aimed to provide resources, tools, and strategies to support UR faculty during these difficult moments. How can we build connections among students early in the semester to create a more resilient classroom community? How and what do we communicate to our students when we know that they are experiencing strong emotions about happenings in the world outside our classroom? Please join us for conversation and information sharing. This session is open to all faculty and instructional staff at UR, no matter what the discipline. 

Snacks and beverages will be available. 

Note: Participants may choose to join in-person at the Faculty Hub or remotely via zoom.
