Next-Level Teaching Cohort, Fall 2024

Are you new(ish) to teaching or to UR or a more established teacher looking for some new ideas and approaches to invigorate your teaching practice? We invite you to join the Next-Level Teaching Cohort. This group will meet multiple times over the Fall semester to explore current topics in teaching, share ideas, and build strengths around teaching. Topics could include: creating great and gradable assessments, energizing discussion, navigating group work, using technology effectively, getting students to read, and more. Topics will be shaped by the cohort’s needs. Led by the Faculty Hub staff, this group is a great way to grow as a teacher and connect with others across campus striving to do the same. This cohort is open to all faculty and instructional staff at UR. Please sign up here to let us know you'd like to be part of the group.

Meeting times:

Kick Off: Monday, Aug 19, 11am-12pm on Zoom

Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm in the Faculty Hub: 8/29, 9/19, 10/3, 10/24, 11/14, 12/5
