Sun West Art Club

This 3-hour workshop will introduce you to the Loomis Method of drawing heads, a very useful technique for drawing people and portraits. Students will learn to correctly proportion and sketch the head in frontal and side views. Additionally, simple techniques for drawing eyes, noses, ears and mouths will be demonstrated.

If you have struggled to draw the human head or to paint portraits, this workshop is a must!

All you need is a sketch pad, graphite pencils (HB and B pencils recommended), a pencil sharpener, erasers, and a desire to learn in a fun and supportive environment!
