EMDR Certification is a designation offered by EMDRIA for EMDR Basic Trained clinicians who complete additional training and consultation to expand their proficiency with the AIP model. EMDR Certification identifies you as an advanced practitioner to clients and colleagues and provides an opportunity to fine-tune your skills and gain confidence in the model.

The Certification Package includes 12 hours of Advanced EMDR Training via EMDRIA-Approved Distance Learning Programs plus 20+ hours of Consultation provided by an Approved Consultant or Consultant in Training (CIT). This is a structured process that requires submission of work samples.

Advanced Training

All consultees will have access to a 12-Hour EMDR Review Package Distance Learning program.

Oregon EMDR, LLC is an EC Provider (#20016).   Eligibility for EMDRIA Credits is restricted to those who have completed an EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Training.

Consultation

20 hours of consultation will be provided,

Consultation

• Participants will be asked to submit a minimum of 6 written verbatim or near verbatim transcripts of their utilization of EMDR Therapy with clients.
• Participants must have an active caseload of at least 5 clients with whom they are or can begin using the EMDR Therapy model.
• Consultees may be asked to complete written feedback forms for their peers’ presentations to enhance everyone’s learning.
• Consultees will have access to a Training Portal and can schedule Dyadic Consultation Meetings at a pace that works best for them.
• Each participant in a Consultation Dyad will be allotted 30 mins of each consultation hour to present cases, present transcipts / video or to bring topics for review, learning or exploration.
• Participants in Consultation Dyads may be asked to present audio or video recordings of their utilization of EMDR Therapy.

If the Consultant or Consultant in Training makes the assessment that the consultee will require more consultation to meet the Core Competencies, Oregon EMDR reserves the right to require additional consultation at the consultee's expense.
