Creating your own art journal is a wonderful way to capture a moment in time, experiment with new techniques, explore ideas and express emotions with art and words. There is no right or wrong way, as each journal is unique to the individual. Kim will guide you through making a book and providing a safe space for you to tap into your own expressive art making. All supplies are included!

Art Journaling is a creative, and fun tool of self-expression using a combination of visual images and words. In many instances there is a utilization of mixed media materials such as; collage, painting, drawing, writing, sketching and stamping. The practice of Art Journaling can be used as a reminder to slow down, relax and be in the moment. It is also a wonderful tool to help work out and plow through a stressful situation or issue in your life, or chronicle special events, travels, occasions or personal journeys.  

After completing these workshops participants will be inspired to join the monthly Art Journaling Club at WCFA beginning in September!
