Middlebury Studio School

This course aims to provide a fun and engaging introduction to fashion design, inspiring young designers to explore their creativity and develop new skills while drawing and painting a fashion rendering. Students will explore visual language, draw the human figure, and learn to communicate fabric choices through watercolor painting. This course will appeal to budding fashion designers or anyone interested in exploring the creative process in a fresh and exciting format. No prior experience in drawing or painting is necessary.
Students will create a final rendered fashion design project. They will gain experience in drawing the human figure, illustrating fabrics, and using watercolor to communicate their design ideas.
