This course is restricted to students who have at least completed second grade Persian.

Welcome to Beginner Persian Calligraphy! Participants will be introduced to the beautiful and ancient art of Persian calligraphy. This course is designed for both children and adults, aiming to ignite a passion for Persian culture and script through engaging, hands-on activities.

Course Highlights:

1. Introduction to Persian Script: Students will learn the fundamentals of calligraphy in the Persian alphabet, and practice essential strokes and techniques that form the foundation of Persian calligraphy.
   
   
2. Artistic Development: Participants will be acquainted with traditional calligraphy tools such as reed pens (qalam), ink, and special paper. Students will enhance fine motor skills, attention to detail, and artistic expression through calligraphy practice.
   
   
3. Culture and Creativity: Student calligraphers will create beautiful calligraphic art pieces incorporating Persian words and phrases. Classes are designed to be fun and interactive, encouraging creativity and expression.
   
   

• Materials: Please note that a mandatory calligraphy supply fee will be added to the cost of this class. All needed calligraphy supplies will be provided in class.
