• ۱- بهبود مهارت در مکالمات روزمره: دراین کلاس با شرکت دادن دانش آموزان در بحث‌های پر جنب و جوش و فعالیت‌های تعاملی نظیر ایفای نقش بر هدف ( تقویت روانی) و افزایش اعتماد به نفس شرکت‌کنندگان در ارتباطات واقعی و روزمره تاکید می شود.
  
  
• ۲-واژگان و اصطلاحات عملی: دانش آموزان واژگان عملی و اصطلاحات کاربردی روزمره را که معمولاً در زبان انگلیسی محاوره ای استفاده می شود، یاد می گیرند تا به راحتی قادر باشند در موقعیت های اجتماعی مختلف منظور خود را بیان ‌کنند. 
  
  
• ۳- راهبردهای ارتباطی مؤثر: دانش آموزان مهارت های شنیداری و گفتاری را از طریق فعالیت های مختلف مکالمه ای بهبود می بخشند.
  
  
• ۴- ایجاد دوستی: یکی دیگر از مزایای این دوره، سهولت ایجاد ارتباط با سایر شرکت کنندگان ساکن هیوستون است که هدف مشترکی در بهبود مهارت‌های زبان انگلیسی خود دارند. این کلاس یک جامعه حمایتی را فراهم می کند که در آن دوستی ها می توانند در داخل و خارج از کلاس شکوفا شوند.
