Krav Maga Levels 1

This entry-level Krav Maga class is designed for all new students, focusing on the basics of self-defense and fighting. Participants will learn Krav Maga’s fighting stance and movement, various punches and kicks from both standing and ground positions, elbow and knee strikes, and defenses against punches, chokes, headlocks, and wrist grabs.
Overview
Yellow Belt is the introductory stage in our Krav Maga curriculum. At certified Krav Maga Worldwide schools, you will begin your training at this Yellow Belt, or "Level 1." This level introduces essential strikes such as straight punches, elbows, front kicks, and knees—key components in street fighting. You'll also learn defenses against common chokes and headlocks. These techniques embody Krav Maga’s principles of explosive movements, instinct-based responses, and simultaneous defense-and-counterattack.

Combatives in Krav Maga refer to the ballistic techniques used in fighting and self-defense, primarily involving punches, kicks, elbow strikes, and knees. These techniques are critical for eliminating threats and ensuring your safety. Even if you're focused solely on self-defense, mastering combatives is essential.
