Make Your Own Glass Ornament
Working with an experienced glass blower, students will learn "hands-on" how to apply different colors to molten glass, how to shape the semi-molten form and finally to inflate the glass into your ornament shape.
After a brief lesson on glass forming, each of four students is allocated 15 minutes of "hands-on" activities during which time an ornament will be made and "boxed" where it will be cooled down and ready for pickup Monday, December 11, from 5-9 pm and Tuesday, December 12, from 5-8pm. We can make other pickup arrangements if those times don't work.
Please don't wear loose-fitting clothes for the "hands-on" exercise. Natural fiber (not synthetic) clothes are best and closed toe shoes are required.
Each student MUST be able to show proof of full Covid vaccination. Blow pipes will be sterilized between each use.
Age Limit- 14 years old, minimum.
