Fall Retreat to Atlanta
How are you called to be faithful where you are?
What does it mean to be called into something?
How can I be faithful with the next step?
As we dive into the weekend we will be following the theme, "Taking the Next Step". The retreat is themed to encourage students to think about what it means to take the next faithful step in what God is calling them into. Being faithful to that next step will look different for each student, and we will provide them with experiences that help them see that faithfulness looks different for different people.
We will visit with MLK Center and Center for Civil and Human Rights museum so students can see examples of people seeing something happening around them, and feeling God calling them into making a difference in their community. Students will also hear from local mission partners who will share their story about how they got started in their work.
We hope students to see that God calls all of us, and it's up to us to be observant of what God might be calling us into.
