makeSHIFT: October 9th

About makeSHIFT
This free, after-school program is most appropriate for 3rd-8th grade students interested in problem-solving, curiosity, and being part of a maker community. We aim to empower students to build their skills through activities that balance challenge and choice within an encouraging environment where students have a sense of ownership.

What to expect
Students will begin by engaging with a new maker challenge or creativity prompt meant to promote perseverance, patience, flexible thinking, and collaboration. A short time later, they can shift to work on their own ongoing projects or explore the tools, materials, and activities available.,

Registration and Questions
Registration opens two weeks prior to each event (8am Thursday mornings). Space is limited!
Please contact Amanda Cornwell (cornw2a@cmich.edu or 989-774-3173) with questions.
