Watauga Arts Council

Watauga Arts Council is partnering with the Middle Fork Greenway to kick off our Art in the Outdoors Initiative. The AARP has sponsored a mural project involving community participation in painting the three tunnels. This project will draw attention to new portions of the Greenway, enrich visitors' experiences, and provide an opportunity for seniors, local children, and our multicultural community to unite to create a unified work of art.

There will be various ways for you to participate.

• You can offer ideas about content to be included in the mural
• Share stories that will spark ideas for content
• Participate in reviewing the final design
• Help Prep for the mural projects
• Join the Artist and other community members In Painting the mural.
• Have other ideas of ways you can help? Please share!
