Join us for a special parent/child woodworking class where you’ll create a beautiful wooden candleholder, perfect for gifting to grandparents, aunts, uncles, or family friends. This project will be a treasured heirloom, a keepsake that will light up any room with both its glow and the love that went into making it. Working together, you and your child will learn basic woodworking skills, using tools and techniques to build a rustic and charming lantern that holds a glass candle holder. Students in this class will get the opportunity to learn many basic woodworking skills, including measuring, gluing, and sanding and learn how to safely use of hand tools and small power tools like the sander.

This candleholder project is ideal for families, allowing parents and children to bond while creating something meaningful together. The completed lantern will be a beautiful, durable piece that can be passed down through generations, symbolizing the care and effort of its makers.
