Digital Accessibility Fundamentals
The CU Boulder Digital Accessibility Office (DAO) frames digital accessibility as “all people should have the opportunity to access the same information and services in the digital environment without facing undue barriers or burdens.”
To enhance awareness and create a more inclusive digital environment, the DAO will provide a platform-agnostic overview of the core concepts and practices of digital accessibility.
By the end of this 3-hour morning session, attendees will better understand best practices for creating accessible digital content, regardless of the editing platform.
You are invited to attend one or both sessions.
Participants are invited to bring their own documents as we will have a working lunch for those attending.
Facilitators: Michael Williamson, Allyson Bartley and Marisha Lamont-Manfre from the Digital Accessibility Office in Boulder.
This workshop is offered by the CFDA, in collaboration with the CUDenver Accessibility Operations Team and the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
