Audience
This is suitable for anyone who works with adults at risk
Aim
This course will support professionals to respond appropriately to safeguarding situations and work alongside the adult towards achieving their desired outcomes
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the participants should be able to:
- Ensure responses to safeguarding situations are delivered in accordance with the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal
- Explain why professional curiosity is fundamental to keeping people safe
- Understand the types, purpose and models of enquiry
- Use an outcomes-focused approach in your practice
- Identify the policy used to resolve professional differences in relation to the safeguarding needs of adults

Before you attend this course, you must download and complete the workbook which is accessed here. You must bring your finished workbook to the in-person session.
Please Note: This event is a 3-hour face to face session and also requires approximately 3 hours of pre-work which must be completed before coming on the session.
