Join us each 2nd Saturday of the month for Mountain Dulcimer Group! Music historian and accomplished musician Mary Greene leads the group through playing traditional mountain dulcimer tunes. This group usually meets from 11-1 pm at the Watauga Arts Council building, where participants play tunes and songs mainly from Appalachian traditional music. Some of this group's music traces back to well-known Watauga musicians such as Frank Proffit, Sr., Doc Watson, and Ora Watson.
