DVAM-The Last Drop Film Screening w/ Adam Joel, Director
The Network Advocating Against Domestic Violence is excited to present The Last Drop, a gripping 40-minute sci-fi film about relationship abuse inspired by the memories of actual survivors.
The story is told through the lens of Sofía, a young woman using a fictional memory machine to relive shared experiences with her boyfriend, Anthony. What begins as a journey through romantic memories shifts when Anthony starts to manipulate these shared memories in his favor, revealing the disturbing disconnect between his version of reality and Sofía’s—the truth.
After the screening, the director, Adam Joel, will discuss his work and what inspired this story.
We will also feature the launch of our new Youth Advocacy Curriculum by The Network's Tara Crawford.
