Router Proficiency (1 day)
Ever marvelled at the accuracy of joinery and thought it was out of your grasp? Perhaps you’ve wondered how to produce unique shapes with a crisp neat finish and be able to repeat them or maybe you are embarking on a domestic project and need a bit of handy know-how? Well let us introduce you to the joys of routing!
The hand held router is the most versatile wood-processing machine in the modern workshop. It has revolutionised the speed, repeatability, efficiency and accuracy of shaping solid wood and sheet material.
On this hands-on 1 day course we set and execute a series of router-based tasks, assess the functions and applications of different routers and router bits, and how to make and use a router table. A full day of noise and knowledge.
