This workshop is perfect for people with no previous experience with wheel throwing, and who want a chance to try guided wheel throwing on a basic level before diving into the world of pottery throwing.

What we will cover

- You will have a chance to try the pottery wheel

- Wedging and preparing your clay

- Centering on the wheel

- Pulling and cylinder making

- Each participant will have a chance to try with 2 ball clays (800g - 1kg)

- Each participant can keep 1 piece of your choice, and we will then fire it (bisque fire - the first firing then glaze it with a transparent glossy glaze and fire it again second firing - glaze firing) ceramic is a slow process while we allow all the pieces to dry slowly - all the pieces can be collected within 2-4 weeks

Please bring an old T-shirt or an apron, working with clay can be very missy! Also No long nails please, Long nails will destroy the working process!
