Complaints that students aren’t doing the reading have been around forever, but most of us think we’re seeing something new now. For example, a recent piece in the Chronicle asks, “Is This the End of Reading?” (Spoiler alert: the answer might possibly be “yes”—but most of us are not quite ready to concede.)
