The "Leader As Coach" Course: Coaching Skills for Developing High Performance
Research demonstrates that leaders that utilize a coaching approach with their constituents increase positive outcomes with employee engagement, strategic and operational alignment, innovation and problem solving, and employee happiness.
The Leader As Coach course from Reach Up Leadership Group provides leaders with a framework and the needed competencies for leadership coaching. This is a "What and How To" course that incorporates Learning Sessions, Leadership Practices, and Coaching Labs that are relevant to real-work contexts.
Leaders will learn specific models of coaching including Developmental Coaching and Performance Coaching, as well as individual and group or team coaching, and they will be given tools, templates, and models that they can apply immediately with their team members. Leaders will gain skill by engaging in Coaching Labs where real coaching practice happens with course members, and they will receive instant feedback and suggestions to hone their coaching competencies.
Course Details:
- 8-weeks in length; weekly meetings in a Google Meet virtual classroom.
- Pre-Session preparation materials
- Weekly Leadership Practice for practice with the Change Management methods and tools, leading to a completed Change Management Plan for the leader
