Clay Ornament Workshop

Christmas is coming and we know many of you like to get started early with Christmas decorating and gifts! These ceramic ornaments will pop on any tree, and make a beautiful handmade Christmas gift as well! This workshop is geared for ages 14 and up.

Under the guidance of local artist Mandy Sirofchuck, you'll learn the basics of working with clay slabs as you form a set of 3 Christmas ornaments, in perfect timing for the holiday season! We'll have several designs for you to choose from. Mandy will help you learn the slab technique, form your ornaments, and work with underglazes to embellish them with Christmas designs. After they dry, we'll bisque-fire them for you and then glaze-fire them, and let you know via email when they're available for pickup.*

Please Note:

• Tuition is due with registration unless other arrangements are made. If you cancel 0-7 days before the class start date, we are able to refund your tuition ONLY if we can fill your space from our waitlist. We are not able to issue partial refunds or transfer your registration to another class. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot under ANY circumstances refund your tuition once you have started the classes.
• Art is a messy business! Please bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty with clay/paint/etc.
• Leave your rings, smartwatches, and jewelry at home. Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
  
• We ask that you pick up your projects within 2 weeks of your notification that they're ready. We have so many classes that our space can get quite full with students' work!
