Rest for (the) Movement, for the Rest of Our Lives
Do you want to rest more, but can't seem to because there is always "something more important" that needs tending? You’re not alone. For many people who long to contribute to positive social transformation, trying to "be the change" can feel exhausting.
Begin 2025 with an exhaustion detox to build momentum for fueling change from the inside out, using the Daring to Rest Method - for the revolution, starting with ourselves.
Gathering over 5 consecutive weekdays for 60 minutes each day, we consider the liberatory possibilities of centering s p a c i o u s n e s s and the potentially outsized effects that even a modest amount of REST can have on our movement building: for healing our individual and collective nervous systems, visioning worlds we want, and gathering the courage to act and support each other to create next-right pleasurable, imperfect actions. Come ready to close your eyes and open yourself to visioning other worlds, curiosity to learn, and readiness to seed action.
