Tuesday, 6:00 - 7:30 PM CST

This course introduces students to how software and hardware work together. Students will learn to program LEDs, buttons, and sensors to see how programming allows physical devices to interact with their environment. Later they apply their computing knowledge and skill in building IoT projects.

Course Goals:

• Introduce students to the real programming world using text-based coding with micro: python.
• Automate day-to-day activities using a micro: bit.
• Use onboard sensors and program them to build simple gadgets.
• Interface with external peripherals.
