The Sewing Labs

Get ready for a week of creativity, sewing, and adventure at Stitch Camp Spring Break! This year’s theme is Earth Biomes, where campers will dive into hands-on projects inspired by the beauty of our planet’s diverse ecosystems. Whether you’re fascinated by the Coral Reefs, captivated by the Desert, or excited by the chill of Polar Regions, there’s a sewing project for everyone!

Choose your week:

• Week 1: March 17-21, 2025
• Week 2: March 24-28, 2025

The same camp will be offered each week, so you can pick the one that fits your schedule!

Daily Activities:

• Mountain Range Bookmarks: Learn basic sewing skills while stitching your own mountain-inspired fabric bookmarks—perfect for marking your favorite stories!
• Oceanic Jellyfish Stuffed Animal: Bring the ocean to life by creating a soft, cuddly jellyfish using bright fabrics and fun sewing techniques.
• Desert Cactus Pin Cushion: Sew your own adorable cactus that doubles as a handy pin cushion! It’s a no-prick plant that’s always in bloom.
• Rainforest Leaves Coasters: Get inspired by the lush greenery of the rainforest as you stitch beautiful leaf-shaped coasters to brighten any space.
• Polar Fleece Hats & Scarves: Prepare for the colder months by making your own cozy hat and scarf set using soft polar fleece—perfect for bundling up in style.

Each project is designed for campers ages 8-13 with little to no sewing experience, and all materials will be provided. Campers will develop basic sewing skills, work with different fabrics, and explore their creativity while celebrating the beauty of Earth’s biomes.

Camp Details

• Time: 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily
• Materials: All sewing materials provided
• Snacks: Two healthy and allergy friendly snacks will be provided each day Parents, please provide a lunch for your child
