Tournament Info

The 2025 Legends Invitational 6 a-side Tournament will be held at Easts Rugby, 22a O'Sullivan Road, Rose Bay from January 17th-19th.

Age groups U8-U12/13 (2017-2012 birth years).

Each club/academy can register a maximum of 2 teams per age group. Once we have 12 teams per age group a waitlist will be started.

All teams must be fully paid and registered by December 20th.

Teams on the waitlist will be offered a spot if anyone fails to pay in a reasonable time once requested.

All players must represent their own age group or a higher age group. No overage players permitted.

U12s/13s teams are limited to 3 x u13s per squad.

Girls may play an age group lower.

Tournament Structure

Playing Format = 6 a-side (5 outfield players plus 1 goalkeeper)

Matches = 2 x 15 min halves (3 min half-time)

​Each age group = 12 teams in 2 pools

Each team plays 5 x group stage matches.

Following group stage teams will be divided into

Cup (top 2 in each pool),

Shield (3rd and 4th in each pool)

and Plate (5th and 6th in each pool)

​With all teams guaranteed a semi-final spot in one of the competitions it keeps all players highly motivated until day 3.

Winners will all receive trophies and runners up will receive medals.

MVP

Each age group will receive a MVP award for the player who receives the most referees' votes.

Golden Boot

Each age group will receive a golden boot for the overall highest scorer.

Golden Gloves

This award will be presented to the goalkeeper who the referees judge to have contributed greatest to their team.
