Have you always wanted to make blankets, throws and tablecloths wider than your loom?
Here is the solution! Learn to weave doublewidth cloth.
In this class we will use wool to weave a small doublewidth shawl. You’ll learn the techniques to use in future projects using any yarn to make anything wide—another shawl, a bigger shawl, a coverlet, a blanket, a tablecloth, bedsheets, a shroud…
With four shafts, you can weave two layers of plain weave. Two shafts will weave one layer, and two shafts will weave the second layer.
It sounds like magic but it’s just weaving. Which may be the same thing, actually.
