Please contact us to register for this class and see if we are a good fit for your family. Payment plans are available. If your child would like to take the second class, they will also need to sign up for Take a Break from 11:30-12. The $65 fee is waived if your child stays for all three classes in one day.

Biology: 

Welcome to the exciting world of biology! In this engaging class, students will dive into the fascinating study of living things. We’ll learn about plants, animals, and our bodies through hands-on projects and interactive games. This class will follow along with the younger Intro to Biology class but at a higher level and with more in-depth projects so families with students in each class can chat about it at home together!

We’ll explore different topics, such as:

Animal Adventures: Meet different animals, learn about their habitats, and understand their roles in the ecosystem.

Our Bodies: Find out how our bodies work, from the heart to the brain, and why it’s important to stay healthy.

Mini-Beasts and Microscopic Life: Explore the tiny creatures that share our world and their impact on nature. - Will be fully covered in the Spring Session, March 31-June 2

The Plant Kingdom: Discover how plants grow, what they need, and their amazing adaptations.-- Will be fully covered in the Spring Session, March 31-June 2

This class encourages curiosity and critical thinking, while fostering a love for science. Get ready for a fun journey through biology where questions are welcomed and discoveries await!

Homework: there is no homework for this class!
